This digital/analog combination model inherits the concept of the first-generation "DW-5000C" model from G-SHOCK, a toughness watch that continues to evolve in pursuit of ultimate strength, and has been made even thinner. It inherits the "octagonal form" that was also used in the first-generation "DW-5000C" model. The tough structure was retained in the development of this combination model with a simple design that eliminates waste. Furthermore, the case is made of fine resin containing carbon fiber, which exhibits high rigidity and realizes a thickness of 11.8 mm.
