The theme of this model is "Aka-gatame," a troop formation in the Warring States period, and the color red, which has been a symbol of strength since ancient times, is used throughout the bezel and dial, overlapping with the G-Shock brand colors of black and red to express the one and only strength that has survived beyond the ages.
