G-SHOCK's top-of-the-line MR-G line has introduced a new model that incorporates the traditional Japanese color "Kachi-iro" into its design.
Kachi Iro" is a dark blue color that has been used in Japan since ancient times. Originally described as "brown" or "pounded" color, it was favored by samurai warriors as a "winning" color and was often used on armor and armors. By using the "Katsushiro," the color of victory, to which the spirit of the warriors dwelled, in the MR-G, we have created a model that is full of dignity.

This time, the entire watch is designed with a Japanese motif, combining strength and glamour. The bezel is made of recrystallized titanium. The titanium material is heat-treated to create a unique crystalline pattern on the surface, which expresses the nie (boiling) effect seen in the blade patterns of Japanese swords.
The band is made of Durasoft band (fluorine rubber), which is soft to the touch yet durable. The "Bishamon tortoise shell" seen on the armor of "Bishamonten," who has been a symbol of strength since ancient times, is applied to create a unique strength, beauty, and unprecedented comfort of wear.
The base surface of the dial is decorated with a typical Japanese pattern of "scale pattern" and a cut surface on the outer circumference reminiscent of a fan/byobu (folding screen), creating a seemingly simple yet gorgeous texture. The index has a gently curved surface on its upper surface, reminiscent of the warp of a sword, giving it a graceful appearance in a powerful design, and the sharp and beautiful edges and curved surfaces of the curved surfaces, which are made possible by Yamagata Casio's nano processing technology, provide a high quality feel.
