Tetsu-iro -KUROGANE-IRO-

From the "MR-G" series, G-SHOCK's top-of-the-line watches, comes the MRG-B2000 with the design motif of "Tetsu-iro" (color of iron). Tetsu-iro" is a deep dark blue-green color that appears when iron used for armor is quenched, and is a traditional Japanese color. The MRG-B2000 in "Tetsu-iro" expresses not only the strength and dignity of the tough iron armor, but also the noble spirit of the samurai, which is expressed in their imposing attitude, honesty, and beautiful gestures, as well as the grace and dignity of the samurai, as a Japanese aesthetic. The bezel, case, and band are decorated with DarkGreenDLC and GreenDial to express the "color of iron," and yellow gold is used as the differential color. The dial is decorated with a tortoiseshell pattern, which is an auspicious design, and the periphery is textured to resemble a folding fan/byobu (folding screen).
