The MR-G series is G-SHOCK's highest-end line.
The MRG-B2100 is a G-SHOCK thin model 2100 series that has been painstakingly crafted using metallic materials of the finest quality.
The intricately shaped bezel is composed of 27 parts. Each part can be polished to the finest detail, resulting in a higher quality feel. The bezel top is made of "Cobalion," which is said to have a luster equivalent to platinum, and the band is made of "DAT55G," a titanium alloy with high hardness and excellent workability.
On the design side, mirror finish is used extensively and DLC coating is applied to add luster to the black color.
The design of the indexes and dial was inspired by the traditional Japanese technique of "Mokugumi. The three-dimensional dial, which resembles a braided latticework, allows light to pass through the gaps and is powered by solar energy.
In terms of functionality, the watch is also practical and compatible with smartphones through radio reception and Bluetooth® communication functions.
