| Other Features | [Dials showing a myriad of shades. The dial, with a medium-sized 38mm steel case, is a copper color with Clous de Paris decorations. The classic pattern of multiple pyramids gives the dial a three-dimensional appearance. Depending on the angle, the dial offers a variety of expressions, such as copper-colored, sometimes ochre, and sometimes burnt ochre of the same color. This dynamic contrast is a constant delight. The indexes are designed to match the baton-shaped hour and minute hands; the two hands and indexes are coated with luminescent paint and glow white in the dark. The gold-colored central seconds on the copper-colored dial harmonizes with the tonal GP logo at 12 o'clock. The date in a window adjacent to the crown is shown in white numerals on a copper-colored disc, a color that harmonizes with the dial itself, the face of the watch. The dial is surrounded by a diamond-set bezel. Each corner of the octagonal bezel is set with eight larger diamonds, with smaller diamonds in between. A total of 56 faceted diamonds (∼ 0.90 ct.) playfully reflect and sparkle. The center links of the polished one-piece bracelet enhance the brilliance of the diamonds and the overall beauty of the model. The beauty of the inside Housed in a slim case measuring only 10.02 mm thick, the Loréat 38 mm coppered diamond bezel houses a self-winding movement, caliber GP03300. The movement, visible through the transparent caseback, features a variety of details typical of Girard-Perregaux's reputation for fine watchmaking. The baseplate is finished in perlage, while other parts are beveled, mirrored, satin-brushed, snailed, sunrayed, and variously engraved. The bridges are decorated with linear Côtes de Genève and the pink gold rotor with arc-shaped Côtes de Genève. The power reserve is approximately 46 hours. |
