Panorna Tourbillon

This exquisite mechanical watch is equipped with not one, but three elaborate complications simultaneously. There is the elegant moon phase, the distinctive panoramic date, a Glashütte original, and the flying tourbillon developed by Alfred Helvig in 1920.
This model has an attractive dial with an asymmetrical layout. On the left half of the dial, the vertical axis houses the hour and minute displays and the flying tourbillon. On the right side are the panoramic date and moon phases, harmonizing the whole.
Unlike the classic tourbillon, which is mounted on both sides, Helvig's graceful mechanism is fixed on only one side. The balance and escapement rotate once a minute in an open frame, and the blued steel tip of the tourbillon cage serves as the seconds hand.
