Pilot's Watch Automatic 36

With the new Pilot's Watch Automatic 36, the iconic instrument-inspired design of IWC's Pilot's Watches is now even slimmer on the wrist.
IWC Pilot's Watches were developed more than 80 years ago as robust and reliable instruments for celestial navigation. It also defined a unique instrument-inspired style that has remained a design signature to this day. This model draws inspiration from the iconic design of the Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII. With a diameter of only 36 mm, it not only fits superbly on a slightly slender wrist, but is also a return to the size of the original Mark 11 navigation watch, produced in Schaffhausen for the Royal Air Force in 1948. In addition to the stainless steel case, black dial, and rhodium-plated hands, technical features include a soft-iron inner case that protects the movement from magnetic fields and a sapphire glass that can withstand sudden drops in pressure.
