The Big Pilot's Watch "Petit Prance", with its 46 mm diameter and distinctive blue dial, is the emblematic timepiece of the IWC special edition in honor of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's most famous literary work. The watch is driven by an IWC-manufactured movement. The watch is driven by the IWC-manufactured 52110 caliber, an efficient Pellaton automatic winding mechanism with parts made of black or white ceramic. The power reserve indicator is at "3 o'clock" and the date display at "6 o'clock," with a central seconds, essential for flight use. The soft-iron inner case provides maximum protection against ambient magnetic forces. The back of the watch is engraved with the image of a cloaked prince with a sword in his hand.
