The first precious metal model in IWC’s “Performance Chronograph” collection is a timepiece that combines the splendor of 18K red gold with advanced functionality. The 18K red gold case houses a black lacquer dial created through a sophisticated process. The hand-polished gold-plated hour markers and luminescent hands exude a luxurious luster and ensure excellent readability.In terms of functionality, it features a ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale, enabling the measurement of average speed.At its heart lies the in-house column-wheel “Caliber 69385.” It features traditional vertical sub-dials for intuitive readability and a highly efficient bidirectional crown-winding mechanism boasting a 46-hour power reserve. The intricately crafted movement can be admired through the tinted sapphire crystal case back, and the black rubber strap can be easily replaced without tools using the EasX-CHANGE® system.
