Portugieser Automatic 42

The “Portugieser Automatic 42” features a completely redesigned case structure with a thinner case ring and box-shaped sapphire crystals on both the front and back. The dial, which requires 60 production steps, is polished after 15 layers of clear lacquer are applied to achieve visual depth and a high gloss.The sub-dials are milled and undergo a three-dimensional printing process, while the hour markers are individually applied to the dial by hand. The watch is powered by IWC’s in-house 52011 caliber, characterized by its circular Geneva stripes.The Pellaton automatic winding system incorporates wear-resistant zirconium oxide ceramic components and, thanks to its two mainsprings, provides a power reserve of up to 7 days (168 hours). The watch is paired with a brown alligator strap by Santoni, featuring an 18K red gold folding clasp.
