Based on G-SHOCK's shock resistance data accumulated over more than 40 years, a new development methodology co-created by humans and AI was adopted for the structure and exterior design. As a full-metal G-SHOCK, it has been reborn with an unprecedented design.
Furthermore, the digital display—the very face of G-SHOCK—now features a high-definition, wide-viewing-angle, high-contrast MIP LCD. This dramatically enhances visibility. It vividly displays various information, achieving an evolution befitting a multifunctional model equipped with Bluetooth® radio-controlled solar technology.
As a direct descendant inheriting the spirit of the origin, this full-metal G-SHOCK challenges new frontiers of toughness.
The digital display employs a high-definition, wide-viewing-angle, high-contrast MIP LCD. Compared to conventional LCDs, it enables finer detail rendering and boasts excellent visibility even in bright outdoor conditions or direct sunlight.A new MIP was developed specifically to enable operation solely on solar power. Its high-definition full-dot display, featuring memory within each "pixel" that makes up the screen, allows switching between four basic watch displays via button operation. Furthermore, when paired with the app, the main display can be switched to a classic 7-segment font.The time display layout inherits the image of the original G-SHOCK, blending advanced functionality with traditional style. Functionally, it connects to the dedicated "CASIO WATCHES" app via Bluetooth® to acquire time information. It features practical functions like Multi-Band 6 and Tough Solar. Manufacturing takes place at the mother factory "Yamagata Casio," the birthplace of the original G-SHOCK.

MRG-B2100 Series
The MR-G series represents G-SHOCK's ultimate premium line. The MRG-B2100 is a meticulously crafted model within G-SHOCK's slim 2100 series, featuring carefully selected metal materials. Its complex bezel shape is composed of 27 individual parts. Each component undergoes detailed polishing, achieving a higher level of texture.Furthermore, it features a high-strength Multi-Guard Structure. The bezel top employs "Cobaltion," said to possess a luster equivalent to platinum, while the band uses "DAT55G," a titanium alloy offering high hardness and excellent workability. Design-wise, extensive use of mirror finishes and DLC coating adds brilliance to the black color. Inspired by the traditional Japanese woodworking technique "kigumi," the indices and dial are designed. The three-dimensional dial, reminiscent of kumiko latticework, allows light to pass through its gaps, powering the solar-driven movement. Functionally, it incorporates radio wave reception and Bluetooth® connectivity for smartphone pairing, ensuring practicality.
The bezel, typically formed as a single piece, has been subdivided into 27 individual components. By polishing each part separately before assembly, we achieved a flawless, beautiful finish even in challenging areas like recesses. The band also features dimpled sections constructed as separate components. Techniques like Zaratsu polishing, which creates a stunning mirror finish, are employed—each piece showcasing the masterful craftsmanship of our artisans.
