Based on the MTG-B2000, which combines a monocoque case made of carbon fiber-reinforced resin with metal materials, this model also uses carbon material for bezel parts to reduce weight. The bezel frame on the side of the watch is now made of carbon material. Compared to stainless steel, the weight is significantly reduced, and the bezel frame is approximately 77% lighter. The top layer of carbon sheet on the bezel frame has been reinforced by overlapping it around the sides at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock. Around the hole where the band joins, the carbon sheet is wrapped around the band in a tubular shape to further improve durability. The overall quality of the watch has also been enhanced with a highly transparent sapphire glass and a dial that has been delicately engraved using Casio's Yamagata Factory's microfabrication technology. In addition, the use of a "layered composite band" has succeeded in reducing weight. In terms of functionality, the watch uses Bluetooth® communication to connect with the dedicated "G-SHOCK Connected" application to acquire time information. The watch is also equipped with practical functions such as Multi Band 6, Tough Solar, and a high-luminance LED light.
