Wind up the "Portofino" by hand, and once again it will provide eight days of energy. This process will surely be eagerly anticipated for the week ahead, when the watch will need to be wound again.
In the Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days, the in-house caliber 59210, which boasts a power reserve of 192 hours, or eight days, ticks reliably and precisely until the watch automatically stops. In fact, there is a nine-day power reserve, but a one-day reserve ensures that the driving torque is as stable as possible over the eight days, thus guaranteeing a high degree of precision. The watch is wound once a week, and then there is no need to worry. The remaining power reserve can be read off on the power reserve display on the dial. The index-free balance with its frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and the Breguet balance spring, bent in accordance with ancient watchmaking tradition, support the highest precision. This model is available in a stainless steel case with a blue dial and rhodium-plated indexes. It also features a see-through sapphire-glass back and a black alligator leather strap by Santoni.
